Central Suite Residence Hotel is One of My Favorite Boutique Hotels in Asia!

To say this Siem Reap hotel is absolutely all-around-amazing would be under-describe my stay here. The spectacular room accommodations is an example of how modern meets old style culture with a twist of spa-like pampering. Beware: this luxurious spa shower tops any that are standard room amenities. You may not want to leave the room! Read on to get a grand picture of more magnificent traits this hotel offers.

After a one night stay here, it has just landed itself in my top 5 favorite hotels! Upon arrival I was treated like a princess with an ice cold drink and a cold refreshing towel (ALL staff were amazing!). It was most welcome in the summer heat of Siem reap. I received a personal tour of the property as they were cooling off my room, and was amazed at the beautiful greenery and modern details that take over the hotels foyer.

The pool is a nice size and good for laps or even relaxing. It even has a swim-up bar with fabulous drink specials to make this pool even more inviting. They didn’t skimp on the dining area, as it is a perfect covered outdoor area with a great view.

Make sure you visit the Damnak Chan Spa on property and receive a relaxing massage after you tour the city. I had a much needed pedicure after a long day and hit the spot!

I also used their laundry service and they were fast and efficient since I needed it for the next day and they were my only pair of long pants for the temples. (I’ve been practicing backpacking light) I requested laundry at 5PM and they were back by 8PM. Now that’s what I call speedy hotel service!

Even with all of these benefits, the main reason it is now in my top 5 is because of the in-your-room luxurious shower area. It is a complete spa experience and you don’t even have to leave your room! The perfect rain shower, tall rock walls enclosing a skylight, shower sitting area, and spa décor competes with the best 5* star hotels. It was hard for me to leave the refreshing water and escape. If I didn’t have a scheduled tour I would probably still be there.

When you can finally pry yourself out of your room, for a tour or sightseeing, there are many tuk-tuk’s and taxis right outside the hotel door to get you where you want to go. (see if you can find the Batman one!) You can also just take a short walk to the bustling night life and party areas of Siem Reap.

It’s only a few blocks from the busy area of Pub Street and the night market. There are also some cultural Wats and tourist areas nearby, to visit during the day. It’s a great location and home base for your stay in Siem Reap. If you are looking for more of a relaxing and stay indoors, it’s quiet enough to curl up in your huge comfortable bed and dream of your next adventure.
